Badger Meter product added to approved Instrument list

Badger Meter is proud to announce that its’ i::scan has been officially added to Scottish Water’s approved instrument list for the measurement of UV254, UVT, and Dissolved Organic Carbon (DOC).

This approval follows a comprehensive evaluation process and represents a significant milestone in our ongoing partnership with Scottish Water.

Scottish Water is responsible for supplying approximately 1.5 billion litres of clean, safe drinking water every day to a population of nearly 5 million people. Supporting such a critical service requires robust, reliable, and innovative solutions and we are pleased to have been chosen as a partner.

This latest recognition builds on our proven track record as a long-term supplier to Scottish Water. For over two decades, ATi, acquired by Badger Meter in 2021 supported operations with ATi Q46 chlorine and pH monitors, as well as hundreds of portable, battery-powered MetriNet sensors for chlorine and turbidity monitoring across their distribution network.

This approval of the i::scan reinforces our position as a comprehensive provider of both water quantity and quality measurement solutions utilising our BlueEdge™ approach.

With a portfolio of water quality instrumentation and flow meters, and a reputation for great customer service, Badger Meter is well positioned to deliver ongoing value to Scottish Water over the coming years.

Vicky Banks, UK Sales Manager said: ‘We are excited to build on our long-standing relationship with Scottish Water and look forward to supporting them.’
