Chemidose Limited is able to provide assistance with your chemical dosing needs

Chemidose Limited is a Chemical Dosing company that specialises in the design, manufacture, installation, testing and commissioning of Liquid and Gaseous Chemical Dosing systems for Water Treatment applications.

The company began trading in 2004 and is now 21 years old, so can be, by years, considered a mature and well established business.

The liquid chemical dosing system journey starts at the Chemical Fill point where there is often a Safety Shower to protect the Chemical fill specialist and other Operational personnel in the vicinity.

Chemical is then safely pumped to bulk storage tank the fill system has safety features that alerts the fill point specialist if the bulk tanks are being overfilled.

Bulk storage tanks typically have a manual cat & mouse or sight glass visual level indicator as well as tank top ultrasonic or radar level transmitters backed up in the tank and bund with mechanical conductivity probes.

Chemical dosing pumps are housed in individually contained dosing skid sections typically in a duty/standby arrangement to provide around the clock automatic operation.

Chemical is then metered by automatically operated (normally via a 4-20 mA analogue signal) via dual contained chemical dosing hose to the Point of Application (POA) where a POA box is situated at or near the dosing point to ensure chemical is being delivered and to detect any chemical spill.

A typical Chlorine gas dosing system will look as follows and these units meter Chlorine gas safely under vacuum automatically into the water for Chlorination/Disinfection purposes so the water reaching our taps is safe to drink and free of any harmful bacteria.

There are many other aspects to the chemical dosing process, and if you wish to learn more or have a professional well established company look after this for you then contact Chemidose Limited.
