Badger Meter UK Awarded Framework with Northern Ireland Water

Badger Meter UK Ltd is proud to announce our recent success in being appointed as an official supplier on the Northern Ireland Water Instrumentation, Control and Automation (ICA) Framework—IF009A.

Following a competitive public procurement process, this award positions Badger Meter UK as a key partner in the delivery of flow meters for Northern Ireland Water through 2027, with an option to extend.

Northern Ireland Water is responsible for supplying approximately 575 million litres of clean, safe drinking water every day to a population of nearly 1.8 million people. Supporting such a critical service requires robust, reliable and innovative solutions and we are pleased to have been chosen as a partner.

As part of this framework, Badger Meter UK will supply magnetic flowmeters. The company’s inclusion not only reflects the high quality of Badger Meter flow measurement technology and proven track record in water quality monitoring—a capability developed through long-standing supply of ATi and s::can instrumentation, including the Q46 chlorine monitors and s::can UV254 and colour sensors, used for measuring organics throughout the treatment process.

This latest framework appointment reinforces our position as a comprehensive provider of both water quantity and quality measurement solutions utilising our BlueEdge™ approach.

With a portfolio of MCERTs-approved flowmeters, water quality instrumentation, competitive pricing, and a reputation for great customer service, Badger Meter UK is well-positioned to deliver ongoing value to Northern Ireland Water throughout the framework period.

We are excited to build on our long-standing relationship with Northern Ireland Water and look forward to supporting them. This framework award marks another important milestone in our mission to help utilities monitor, manage, and optimise their water networks with precision and confidence,” Vicky Banks, UK Sales Manager said.
